Makol or مکول is a village in Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The village Makol is divided into tow parts. Makol Bala مکول بالا یا اپری مکول and Makol Payeen مکول پائیں‘ بنی مکول‘ ترلی مکول. Makol Bala is part of Union Council Nagri Bala while Makol Payeen is part of the Union Council of Dewal Manal 〔(Dewal Manal Union Council )〕 and is located at with an altitude of 2064 metres (6774 feet).〔(Location of Makol Tarli - Falling Rain Genomics )〕 Makol Bala has three parts. Danna Makol ڈنہ مکول Makol Garan مکول گراں and Sadyalan ni Pandi صدیالاں نی پانڈی. Technically Chak Akhroota is also part of Makol Bala although locally its inhabitants belong to Makol Payeen and Tatreela. There are two primary schools for boys and one middle school and one primary school for girls in Makol Bala. There is no health facility available in both parts of Makol despite having more than five thousand population. Makol Payeen constituted on different Muhallas. One part of Makol Payeen is on another hill across the Nallah Sumander Kattha سمندر کٹھہ۔ People of Makol Payeen are famous for being violent and warrier but they are have also higher number of graduates and post graduates. Late Principle Havalian Government College Sardar Hakam Dada Khan won gold meddle in Chemistry way back in 1974. The village has also produced doctors and teachers and other professionals. But still it is infamous due to culture of violence an infighting. Makol payeen is full of younger talent which needs to be exploited, old culture is vanishing, and young generation ideology is towards a peaceful makol Payeen. ==References== Sardar Aameer Ali khan was a famous personality of Makol payeen. Now sardar Dr. khalil ur Rehman, from family of sardar Aameer Ali khan, a world renowned doctor, kidney specialist and physician, is a sign of dignity for the village. Sardar Aameer Ali khan's family occupies much of the village, comprising more than 500 individuals. Sardar Aameer Ali khan had 14 sons (one died a bachelor), and their offspring leads or represents the village in every department. Others are residing minorities, whose rights are protected by the sardar family, and they are given proper human rights and treated in humanitarian way.
